To put a 5 1/4" floppy disk into the floppy drive first lift the floppy disk drive door, or turn the door handle up. Then, gently slide the disk into the slot of the disk drive. The disk slot should be facing towards the back of the drive with the label side of the disk facing up. Finally close the disk drive door, or turn the handle down.

To remove a 5 1/4" floppy disk from the floppy drive, lift the floppy disk drive door, or turn the handle up. Then, gently remove the disk from the drive.

To put a 3 1/2" floppy disk into the floppy drive gently slide the disk into the drive. The metal shutter should be facing towards the back of the drive with the label side of the disk facing up. This disk should slide into the drive and "click" into place.

To remove a 3 1/2" floppy disk from the floppy drive, push the drive button on the front of the floppy drive, and the disk should pop right out.
